Billing & Insurance

We participate with most insurance plans. However, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has restrictions on which doctors you can see, or the services and amounts you are eligible for under your plan.

When you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we submit claims to your carrier and receive payments for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-pays, co-insurance, or other deductible amounts. It is always good thing to ask yourself  questions such as these:

1. " I have an HMO policy. Is the doctor within the network of providers with my carrier? "

2. " I have a PPO policy. What services do they cover/exclude? "

3. " Are there any prior authorizations required by my carrier before I have my procedure? "

4. " What is, and have I met my yearly deductible amount? "

5. " What is my copay amount for each visit? "

6. " I know my pap smear test is included with my annual exam, but what about other tests following, if necessary? "
